Places I Visited:
• Punta Del Este- Resort City with beautiful beaches, try marijuana (legal to smoke in the whole country).
• Montevideo- a small city with good city walk and decent nightlife.
My first destination in Uruguay was Punta del Este. I took a boat from Buenos Aires to Sacramento then boarded a bus to Montevideo. From Montevideo, I boarded another bus going to Punta del Este. Uruguay is like a touristy country for South Americans. I went there in the off-season time. As I got there, I went to the hostel where I met 2 Norwegian guys I once came across in Buenos Aires and some local guys also.
I didn’t do much in Punta Del Este. I hung out with those guys, walk on the beach.
