Places I Visited:
• Cali- walking in the streets and learning salsa, it was such a lovely experience.
• Medellin- visiting Guatapae, outstanding street arts, getting on a cable car, walking in the city, excellent nightlife.
• San Andres- tiny island magnificent beaches, doing beach activities.
At the border of Peru, we met a Swedish guy who was traveling to Colombia. After emigration and immigration in Colombia, I took a bus to Cali, Colombia.
In Cali, I stayed for two days and took some salsa lessons, walked around the city and partied.
From Cali, I took a night bus to Medellin. I stayed in Medellin for 2 weeks where I did a lot of crazy stuff. I met Canadians, Brazilians, Austrians, Swiss, Americans and lot of other people.
We had the very best of fun. We went on a day trip to Guatape, with my Canadian, Brazilian and Austrian friends. this was a fun, and in later days we also did party van, cable car tour, and late-night walks in the city. We even rented a car and went for a long day ride with Canadian, Austrian and American friends. We even visited soccer game on some evening. We partied almost every night.

My Canadian friend and I had nothing to do one morning; we decided to book a ticket for the evening flight to San Andres. On getting to San Andres, we didn’t book our stay in the island we took a taxi to one hostel, and they were fully booked. We sourced for more, found one, and booked it.
The next day while playing at the beach, we met a stranger who suggested we should go to a boat party at night, he told us it would be fun. We bought our tickets from him and went back to the hostel.

In the evening we met a German guy in the hostel we told him we are going to boat party and he requested to join us.
It was a troll party; it was a shitty party where everyone was like 50+. We had few drinks after that upset night, and we all went back to our hostel.
The next I was beginning to feel bored, I surfed through the net for the cheapest flights to go around then found a flight for Aruba. I ask my Canadian friend if he would like to join me; he agreed, and we booked a flight for the next day and flew to Aruba.
That completed my 3.5 months trip in South America.
