MY STORY

VISIT:: 1

This was my first international trip ever. I was pretty much excited about the trip. It was an organized trip just for 5 days. Everything was pre-booked on the first day we had a van from Bangkok who picked us at the airport to Pattaya. On our way, we stopped at the tiger zoo where we had a chance to eat breakfast while sitting next to tigers as there was a glass separating us.

From there, we headed to Pattaya. On that day we did all touristy things; visited some diamond factory and a dance show with that, we were done for the day.

Next day we went to the coral island, we spent half of the day on the island and got back to Pattaya in the evening after we have walked around the walking street.

Next day we traveled to Bangkok, we visited safari and a dolphin show on our way and got to Bangkok in the evening. We had our dinner, and everyone went to bed.

Next day we did the city tour and got back to hotel. And on the last day, we did a little shopping and went straight to the airport.

VISIT:: 2

after the Cambodia exit I entered into immigration office, I saw a quite number of people who were getting into the country, and after 1 hour of standing in line, it finally got to my turn. The immigration officer took my passport put it on the table and left to somewhere (all the officers left) we didn’t understand what the hell was going there and we eventually waited for 2 freaking long hours.

Then the immigration officer came back, and I asked what the problem was, and he told me they went to a meeting. Then he passed my passport to the other officer; I paid an arrival fees then I got my visa and entered Thailand.

I was already 3 hours late, and I was supposed to catch up with the train from Bangkok to Surat Thani later that evening, and where I was is 5 hours away from Bangkok. As I got out of the immigration office, I rushed to catch the bus to Bangkok. After an hour of waiting, I finally got into a private van to Bangkok. It was getting late to catch up with the train; I was struck in the traffic in the suburb of Bangkok.

On my way, I saw a few things which gave me the assurance that we are a few kilometers away from the train station and I had 1 hour left from the departure, and I also needed to pick up my ticket from across the station which I already booked online.

I told my driver to drop me somewhere where I can take the motorcycle taxi; he did; I took a motorcycle taxi, straight to the train station. I still have 40 min left to get to the train station, but I don't have my ticket so, I walked to the ticket counter which was 5 min away from the station but couldn't find anyone.

I waited for ten minutes then someone walked into the office, asked for my details and finally gave my ticket. I rushed to the train station got on the train 5 minutes before departure, but alas, my train was delayed for 30 minutes.

Train journey in Thailand in very comfortable by morning. I got to Surat Thani and then took a 2-hour bus ride to ferry stand, and went on a 3-hour ferry journey to my final destination Koh Phangan.

It took me a whole day to get to Koh Phangan. On getting to Koh Phangan, I went to bed early because I was exhausted. The next morning, I didn’t do anything walked around the island later that evening. I met a Dutch, we went out for dinner and came back to the hostel and met a bunch of people and just hang-out in the hostel.

Next day I was all set for half moon festival so in the morning I was doing little shopping for half moon festival.

Before the program I me a Pakistani born Canadian, we had a drink and went to the festival together. The Half-moon festival was crazy.

The next day, I booked a ferry to Koh Tao where I planned to do my advanced open water scuba diving. Getting there, I walked around different companies of scuba diving to get the better a price offer. I finally enrolled for my advanced open water in a decent diving center. My training was to start next morning, and after 3 days, I was eventually certified as advanced open water diver.

After my program, I moved back to Koh Phangan, and I spent over a week in Koh Phangan. I met a lot of people in the hostel; French, Dutch, English, American, Irish, I met people from more than 20 nations.

I attended parties most of my days in Koh Phangan. I partook in jungle party, waterfall party, pool party, and the evergreen full moon party.

Other than partying, I didn’t do anything on the island. Ok, I visited beach twice or trice. On the waterfall party day this interesting thing happened. I parked my bike somewhere, and after the party, I couldn't remember where I put my bike I was too much drunk, and after 1 hour of search, I finally found my bike went back to the hostel.

After two days after the full moon, I went to Bangkok for shopping and flew back home (india) after 3 years.

VISIT:: 3

while I was in India one night I got a call from one of my Canadian friend saying that he is flying to Koh Phangan for 2 weeks and he asked me to join him, and my reply was "yes".

I flew from India he and his friend flew from Canada, we met in Bangkok airport and then we flew to Surat Thani airport. From there, we took a bus and ferry to Surat Thani. We checked in into the hostel consecutively went out to get food.

The next morning, I started feeling sick by the following day. I have a fever and was on the bed for 4 days. I couldn't do anything, and on the 6th day, it was full moon party. I was beginning to feel better that very day. I went to the full moon party, but I didn’t drink anything that night.

Finally, I went to 2 full moon parties, one I was drunk, and the other was the other way round “sober.” The full moon party was fun-filled.

Next day, we went to Koh Samui we walked and toured the island, and after 2 days I took a ferry to Surat Thani from Koh Sumai and flew to Kuala Lumpur for a 2-day visit.
