• Cusco- Gateway to Rainbow Mountain and one of the world wonder macho Picchu.
• Nazca- visiting Nazca lines largest figures on the ground.
• Huacachina- desert oasis and tiny village just west of the city of Ica in southwestern Peru, doing desert safari, walking u the oasis mountain and walking around the lake in the town.
• Lima- Capital and largest city in the country, walking in the downtown.
My Peru trip started with my arrival at Cusco early in the morning from lapaz, I took the public bus to the hostel, after checking in, I surprisingly saw these 2 Irish people whom I met in Florianopolis and traveled together in Buenos Aires. They were leaving for a 4-day trek to Machu Picchu.
After a little rest, I went out to find a tour agent because I planned to visit Rainbow Mountain and macho Picchu but I ended booking only rainbow mountain through the tour agent, and I thought of going to Machu Picchu on my own.
The next morning, I started my journey to Rainbow Mountain, it was 7 km hike with the elevation changing from 4000 to 5000 meters. This was a tough trek and temperature was below 0 degrees.

Finally, I walked to the rainbow mountain then it started snowing on the mountain, and I couldn’t see the real colors of the hill. I got back to my hostel tired late in the evening.
Next day, I started my journey to Machu Picchu and to get there I needed to take a road journey to Poray and from Poray I can either take an expensive train to Aqua Calientes or even walk there, it is about 12 km rather than going by train, I decided to trek.
I met a Brazilian, and we trekked together, it was a fun walk. After 3 hours, we got to Agua Calientes. My Brazilian friend went to his hotel, but I had no place to stay. I started searching for a hostel.
Finally, I got one, logged in and spent the rest of the day resting.
Early the next morning, I started hiking to Machu Picchu; It was a tough 2 km walk. We can either take a bus there, but I preferred hiking. On my way, I met 2 Indian girls, and we did the hike together after getting up the hill we were in one of the world wonder “Machu Picchu”.

After few minutes I lost the Indian girls then I started touring alone in the wonder. After my tour, I started walking back to Agua Calientes. On getting to agua Calientes and trekked back to Poray. As I was walking back, I met this Brazilian guy again and we walked back together.
We had a fun filled time on getting to Poray; I met this French friend of mine in Poray whom I had met before in Puerto Monero, Argentina.
After few talks with them, we all departed, and I went back to Cusco.
The next day, I took a bus to Ica with a bus change in Nazca. As I got Nazca, I had 3 hours to begin my other journey. I quickly took a taxi to watch Nazca lines after watching; I came back to catch up with the bus. As I reached Ica, I boarded a tuk-tuk to reach Huacachina.

I got to Huacachina, logged into my hostel, took a desert walk. evening of the next day, I took an oasis tour; it was similar to safari desert in Dubai but a different type of car. After the tour, I walked up the desert hill to watch the sunset.
