Places I Visited:
• Santo Domingo- good for a street walk, visiting museums, learning bachata dance.
From Aruba, I took a flight to Santa Domingo with a layover in Caracas Venezuela. In Caracus, I was rushing to get my flight, a cop enters and started checking my bag and disorganizing my luggage saying that it is a security check and started asking me for money at the same time. I told him I had only 5$ on me, so he left me, and I finally got on the flight to Santa Domingo. After landing, I took a bus to the hostel where I met few people.
The next day we walked around the old town, and also we went to the museum. I think this was first museum ever visited on this tour.
We visited the chocolate museum, and rum distillery tasted few of them. I thought of going to do bachata dance, but I couldn't find a place.
Later in the evening, I met 2 German who were planning to go to Haiti. The next morning, we took a taxi to bus station and took a direct bus to port-a-prince, Haiti.
