VISIT:: 1
I took a flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, from the airport, I took an expensive train to the city.
The hostel I booked was only the racist hostel I have ever visited. Upon arrival at the hostel, the staff collected my passport, and I paid for my lodge. As I was about entering my room, the manager called me and asked me where my American passport is, I told him I have an Indian passport, but I reside in America; she told me I need to change my address in the booking website.
I didn’t understand what she said as she was communicating in Malay, but one of the Pakistani security guard working with the hostel then out of curiosity came and interpreted what she said; he told me they do not allow people from the Indian subcontinent and middle east. Indirectly, he told me they only allow white people and cancel the booking of other nationalities.
It was annoying, I even thought of leaving the hostel but the Pakistani convinced me to stay. anyway, I left on my way to my room, I met 3 South Africans, Dutch, English and an American in the hostel. In the evening, we went out to the helipad bar where helipad was turned into a bar. It was quite exciting, we back to the hostel and continued with the party.
The following day, I started with my regular thing, walking around the neighborhood and when it was time for lunch, I went to an Indian restaurant with an American who i met the night before. Later that day, i went alone to visit the Hindu god statue. And came back to the hostel and started talking to these guys on what to do in the evening. One of the South African suggested.
There was an infinity pool in the downtown hotel, so we thought of going there, so we took a taxi to the hotel entered the hotel and got into the elevator, it was on the 56 floor. It is required of us to book a room to operate lift but we didn’t book a room in the hotel but on the 55th floor, there is an office where everyone can go so we went to the 55th floor and through emergency stairs, we went to the 56th floor. We knocked on the door of the 56th floor, someone opened it for us and finally we were in the pool. This pool really has a stunning view. After 2 hours in the pool we got back to hostel.

After that, I did my usual thing, walking in the neighborhood. There was a party in the hostel that evening, in party I didn’t meet any new person, but i had a message from the English people whom i met the Kuala Lumpur that they were in the other hostel in Penang that was 2 minutes away.
In the Streets of Penang
I invited them to my hostel because my hostel was experiencing a good vibe. We went out for dinner and back to the hostel after little drinks. On getting to the hostel, we went to a bar crawl organized by the hostel, and after that, we were back to our respective hostels. Next day, my friends from England and I went out for a self-walking tour in the city. Penang, the has excellent street art, we were able to watch most of them and went to floating market, and in the evening, we repeated the same thing like the previous night.
